The vest style gilet is a simple style with slightly dropped edges at the front. The cut is similar to the waterfall gilet but without the waterfall front.

The edges are straight cut with a small turnback making a collar shape.

The gilets shown are closed with a small leather tie but a loop and toggel or concealed hook could also be used.
